Opening Hours
The Opening Hours feature allows you to specify the opening hours of stores. This information will be displayed on the interactive map, helping customers know when each store is operational.
Important note: The hours must be set up here before they can be assigned to individual locations.
If not set, no hours will be visible to the public.
What is it for?
- Clearly communicate weekly opening hours.
- Add exceptions for holidays or special openings.
- Improve the accuracy of the information displayed on the map.
How to add a new set of hours
- Access the Opening Hours section from the sidebar menu.
- Click “Add” or go directly to
admin/openinghour/create. - Ensure the “Activate opening hour” toggle is active (blue).
- Enter an identifying name in the
Namefield (e.g., "Standard Hours", "Summer Hours", etc.). - Click “Add exception” to start adding the hours.
Technical note: If you see an error like
Undefined array key "days", it may be a backend issue.
Contact StoreMap.io support if it persists.
Exceptions and variations
You can add custom exceptions (for holidays, special openings, or vacations) by clicking “Add exception”. Exceptions temporarily overwrite the normal hours for the specified dates.
Saving
After setting the hours, click “Save opening hour” at the bottom or top-right. You can then associate this set of hours with one or more locations through the location edit screen.
