Section: Tools > Remove Duplicate Locations

The Duplicate Remover function helps you keep your list of points of sale clean and organized by automatically identifying duplicate locations based on name and address.

How it works

StoreMap automatically compares your locations to detect any duplicates (for example, multiple entries with the same address or name).

In the displayed table you will see:

• Name of the duplicate location
• Address detected
• Country
• Number of duplicate occurrences found

Quick removal

Once the duplicate entries are identified:

• Verify the details in the list.
• Click the “Remove duplicates” button (top right, red).
• The duplicate entries will be automatically deleted, keeping only one valid copy.

Note: This operation is irreversible: make sure the data is actually duplicated before proceeding.

When to use this function?

• After a bulk import (Excel/CSV)
• If multiple users manage the same account
• For periodic database cleanup
